Satisfying Victory For The Eagles
3/18/2009 Desert earned a well deserved victory tonight against the Tucson High Badgers . One fan commented, "I love those kills and tip overs. The whole team hustled and played great", while Austin's girls added "We were a little nervous during the first game but wow, did they get it together". They went on to add more passionate comments about the game and the victory, but I think our much appreciated score board operator summed it up very nicely, "The Eagles discombobulated the Badgers tonight". Frustrating Desert Loss
3/17/2009 Parents, coaches, and players felt a sense of frustration after last night's game. Each game was close and there were times we had the lead, but it was Cholla who claimed the victory last night. We will face them again and plan on being prepared to finish each game strong.

Definite Victory Over the Jaguars
3/12/2009 The Eagles defeated the Jaguars last night on their home court. We were missing a couple of players but the team stepped up their game and filled in the gaps quite nicely.
Kevin Johnson led the teams with 5 kills, followed by Ryan Schlottman who had 4 Kills, Time Nelson and Randsom Rockliffe put up 3 much needed kills, while Garrett Sallee and Aaron Bradley each provided kills.
Austin Struble provided 14 set assists to his team.
